This webinar provides a focused exploration of ethics for juvenile probation officers and caseworkers. Designed for both new professionals and seasoned practitioners, the session will highlight real-world dilemmas and practical strategies for navigating ethical decision-making in juvenile justice settings. The training will be led by two former juvenile probation officers who have more than 40 years of combined experience in both juvenile probation and probation supervision. Their extensive field knowledge will ground the discussion in realistic examples and actionable guidance.

In this webinar, our speakers will discuss several key topics, including:

Intended audience: Juvenile probation officers, caseworkers and staff providing ancillary services to court-involved youth.

Faculty for this Webinar: Dave Pelon, Deputy Court Administrator, Barry County Trial Court; Hope Leach, Probation Officer Supervisor, Berrien County Trial Court.

CJE Credit Hours: This webinar does not qualify for continuing judicial education credit hours.
